EXTREME MULTI-DAY RIDE

Your first 2.5hr ride will take you off into the hills and up to the base of Mt Karioi. At a couple of hundred metres above sea level you will have uninterrupted views of the Tasman sea. You’ll then wind your way down through the valleys gouged out by lava flow thousands of years ago. Enjoy the native forest, and feel like you have reached middle earth. 

After a wonderful kiwi dinner head back to your cabin for an outdoor bath or another wine on the deck watching the sunset.

The next morning we will set off early heading to the beautiful volcanic black sand beach for a long day ride along the coast. View the Tasman sea from both sea level and from the cliffs overlooking it. We will ride into wild west coast ocean for a splash around and absolutely have a good canter along the beach. A bucket list for many!! A packed lunch will be carried by your guides and they’ll find a shady spot for you to have a good rest half way before they journey home. 

Once back at the end of the day you’ll have one more farm fresh meal with us and another night in the cabin before your leave in the morning at your leisure.

Every ride will differ from the last. Our incredibly experienced guides and horses will make sure you have the time of your life!
