THE TRAVELLER'S PACK

We have designed a package for the travellers who desire an extreme multiday ride but only have time for a one night stay. This package offers an afternoon and morning ride of 2 1/2 hrs per ride and an overnight stay in our eco cabins. This also includes our incredibly popular burgers and beers dinner the evening after your ride and breakfast at your cabin.

THE RIDE

Your first 2.5hr ride will take you off into the hills and up to the base of Mt Karioi. At a couple of hundred metres above sea level you will have uninterrupted views of the Tasman sea. You’ll then wind your way down through the valleys gouged out by lava flow thousands of years ago. Enjoy the native forest, and feel like you have reached middle earth.

On return back to the stables you will be greeted with a cold beverage and you can sit back and relax while dinner is prepared.

After your meal you return to your cabin and can have an outside bath with a view and unwind for the day ready for your ride the next morning.

After breakfast at your cabin we will head off on to your second 2.5hr trek. Down onto the remote Ruapuke Beach, one of only a few beaches in the world that boasts stunning black sand. Wade out into the west coast waves and enjoy a canter along the waters edge (a bucket list item for many!).

Want an extra night before or after your multi-day ride? We are more than happy to accommodate you for the extra night. This night will not be catered as it is not part of the package. Catering can be discussed for an additional cost.
